Fit each device over a clean, dry area and run a 15-minute session — the timer shuts it off automatically. Start with one short session per area and build up as your horse settles into the routine; many horses relax noticeably during a session. Keep the horse tied while devices are in use, and don’t fold the pads. A typical routine is one to two sessions a day per area. Introduce the equipment calmly, and let your horse set the pace.
