At-home red light therapy works best when the device actually fits the area you are treating. ClinicPBM splits the range two ways: wearables that strap directly onto a joint or limb, and panels that cover a wider area from a distance.
Wearables — strap on and move
- Knee and elbow — contoured wraps that stay put through a session
- Neck and shoulders — collar-shaped wraps
- Legs and hips — whole-leg coverage, nothing to hold in place
- Feet — slippers and boots, one size fits all
- Face — LED masks covering the full face at once
Panels and full-body
Panels work from a distance instead of contact: a 192W unit for one area at a time, a 1500W unit for standing full-body sessions. The full-body sleeping bag wraps 85″ of double-sided LED around you lying down — the widest coverage in the range.
Most devices pair 660nm visible red with 850nm near-infrared; a few add 470nm blue. Wearables run on built-in batteries so you can move around mid-session, and shut off automatically at the end.
