A horse's lower limb works as one system. The tendons and ligaments running down the cannon carry the load, and the hoof at the bottom absorbs every stride — so when one is sore or recovering, the other is usually working overtime to make up for it. This bundle is built to support the whole lower limb at once.

The Leg Boot wraps the cannon, tendon, and fetlock area, and the Hoof Boot cradles the hoof, sole, and coronet band. Both deliver the same combination of visible red (660 nm) and near-infrared (850 nm) light. Bought together, they cover your horse's lower leg from the knee or hock all the way down to the hoof — and cost less than buying each on its own.

What's in the bundle

  • 1 × Red Light Therapy Leg Boot — contoured coverage for the cannon, tendons, and fetlock.
  • 1 × Red Light Therapy Hoof Boot — shaped coverage for the hoof, sole, and coronet band.

Both are cordless, battery-powered, and set to a safe 15-minute session with automatic shut-off, so a full lower-limb routine is simply a matter of wrapping, pressing a button, and letting each device run.

Why treat the leg and hoof together

Soft-tissue soreness in the leg and discomfort lower down in the hoof rarely stay in their own lanes — a horse that's guarding one part of the limb tends to load the rest differently. Working the whole lower limb in one routine helps you support local circulation and comfort evenly from top to bottom, rather than easing one area while the other keeps compensating. It's also simply more convenient: one session covers the leg while the next covers the hoof, and you're done.

How the light works

Both devices combine visible red light at 660 nm with near-infrared light at 850 nm. These wavelengths are used to support local blood circulation and the body's natural recovery, and to provide temporary relief of minor muscle and joint discomfort. The approach is non-invasive and drug-free, with no EMF and no flicker. It's intended to support comfort and recovery — not to replace veterinary diagnosis or care.

How to use

Wrap the device over the target area and press the button; each session runs for 15 minutes and shuts off automatically. Sessions can be repeated two to three times a day at first, then reduced to an as-needed basis. Keep your horse tied while the devices are in use, and don't run more than 30 minutes on the same area in one sitting. Because both are cordless, you can treat stall-side or anywhere on the yard.

What's included

  • 1 × Leg Boot with rechargeable battery insert
  • 1 × Hoof Boot with rechargeable battery insert
  • Easy-to-follow instructions for both devices

Buy with confidence

  • 1-year warranty against defects on both devices
  • 30-day risk-free trial — try it at home and return it if it isn't right
  • Free worldwide shipping

Frequently asked questions

Can I use both devices at the same time?
Each device runs its own 15-minute session, so most owners treat one area and then the other. You can move straight from the leg to the hoof in a single routine.

How soon might I notice a difference?
It varies with the horse and how it's used. Many owners use red light as part of a consistent routine over a couple of weeks rather than expecting an overnight change.

Is it safe?
Used as directed it's non-invasive and drug-free. Keep the light away from eyes — the near-infrared LEDs are bright but invisible — keep your horse tied during sessions, and don't exceed the recommended time on one area. Check with your veterinarian about any specific condition.

Can I treat both front legs?
Yes. This bundle covers one lower limb; if you want to treat both front (or both hind) limbs, choose the paired option or add a second bundle.

Is this a substitute for veterinary care?
No. It's a supportive tool for comfort and recovery and isn't intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. Always get a proper diagnosis from your veterinarian.
